Almari is a popular and very busy community café with a South Asian-inspired fusion kitchen. After two successful years, we’re looking for an experienced and reliable Weekend Chef to independently lead our kitchen every Saturday and Sunday.

Our brunch menu is inspired by South Asian flavours, so we need a chef who either has experience with South Asian food or genuinely understands and appreciates its flavours and ingredients.

The role includes:

• Preparing and serving our South Asian-inspired brunch menu

• Independently managing the kitchen during busy service

• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

• Food preparation and stock management

• Following food hygiene and allergen procedures

• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service

Applicants must have professional kitchen experience, ideally within a busy brunch café, and be confident taking full responsibility for running the kitchen.

💷 Starting from £15+ per hour (depending on experience)
