TAO is Recruiting – Weekend Barista (Specialty Coffee)

TAO is looking for an experienced barista to join our team on a weekend-only basis at our East Croydon location, with the possibility of an additional weekday shift.

This role is ideal for someone seeking around 15-20 hours per week, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. Please specify in your application if you are based locally, as candidates must live near East Croydon.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee (espresso, pour-over, etc.)

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented workspace

• Assist with restocking and daily café upkeep

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barista, ideally in specialty coffee

• Strong coffee knowledge and attention to quality

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Availability to work weekends (required)

• Flexibility to potentially add a weekday shift

• Must live near East Croydon
