We're looking for someone who's confident behind the coffee machine, naturally great with customers and happy to get stuck into all aspects of café life. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing independent business, take ownership of coffee quality and help shape a positive and supportive team environment.

As our Senior Barista, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring consistently excellent coffee and a high standard of customer service.
You'll need to be confident running the coffee station independently during busy services. During the week and quieter periods, you'll also be expected to welcome and seat customers, take orders and support the wider front-of-house operation.
Key Responsibilities / What You'll Be Doing
Dial in coffee daily, maintaining consistency and quality throughout service.
Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and other beverages to a high standard.
Take ownership of maintaining coffee quality and consistency.

Support the wider FOH team with food service, clearing tables and washing up.
Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues during busy periods.
Follow health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years' experience as a barista, preferably in specialty coffee.
Proficiency in making espresso-based drinks and confidence running the coffee station independently.
Good latte art skills.
Ability to dial in grinders and maintain consistency in espresso shots.
Passionate about great coffee, food and service.
Proactive and observant, with the initiative to spot what needs doing.
Friendly, reliable and positive.
A team player who's happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
Great communication skills and a natural ability to make people feel welcome.
