Senior Barista & Café All-Rounder
BADOAbout this role
BADO is a new, community-focused space opening soon in East Village. We are a specialty coffee shop by day and a natural wine bar by night, built on a mission of sustainability, quality, and connection.
Our vision is to create a welcoming and inclusive hub for our neighbourhood. We will proudly serve exceptional coffee from our partners at The Roasting Shed, a simple and delicious food menu, and a carefully curated selection of natural wines. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to be a foundational part of a values-driven business and grow with us from day one.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Barista & Café All-Rounder to be a key player in our small, dedicated team. You will be responsible for ensuring our space is welcoming and that we deliver an outstanding experience for every person who walks through our door.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating a warm, positive, and genuine customer experience.
Preparing and presenting our menu of simple, high-quality plates, pastries, and sandwiches.
Making and serving a great standard of coffee, from espresso to filter. You'll be comfortable dialling in grinders and keen to learn about our coffee offerings.
Handling payments, keeping the space clean and tidy, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
As we transition into a wine bar in the evenings, you'll assist the team with service and be open to learning about our curated selection of wines.
