Experienced barista for electric coffee bike/cart

We are looking for a friendly, experienced barista to join our team and run our coffee bike outside Bermondsey tube station. There is a lot of flexibility around number of shifts, and our shift pattern looks like this: Monday-Friday from 6.15am - 11.45am (bike is open from 7am-11am) and weekends from 7.15am-2.30pm (bike is open from 8am-2pm). This might be 3 days, 4 days or 5 days per week, depending on your availability. We're also keen to find someone who might want to pick up shifts in our shops too from time to time.

You will be working independently on our coffee trike, therefore we are looking for someone who is comfortable working alone and working outside. It is an early start but also an early finish :-)

Our main focus is coffee, although we also serve a small range of pastries.

We're looking for someone who is truly passionate about specialty coffee - being a roastery as well as a coffee shop, this is essential. You should care about every cup of coffee and every customer :-)

Who we're looking for:
* Coffee enthusiast: you need to really love coffee and be passionate about the specialty coffee scene
* Early riser: early shifts start at 6.15am and end at 11.45am. So you get the afternoon free!
* Bike confident: the bike is currently kept in a local garage overnight so there is a small amount of cycling involved. The bike is big, but it is electric.
* Height/strength: due to the weight and height of the bike, the role ideally suits someone who is not super small, of average height plus and feels strong enough to operate a large piece of equipment.
* Hardy: you'll be outside in the weather, albeit under a small cover, so you need to like the outdoors
* Super friendly: our customers are so important to us, we treat them all with kindness and make chatty conversation

We pay £15 per hour for the bike role.
