Barista

Macatia and Coffee, a popular specialist coffee and matcha house in Herne Hill, is looking for an experienced Barista to join our team.

This is a hands-on role for a passionate coffee professional with excellent barista, customer service, and communication skills, and a strong knowledge of coffee and alternative drinks.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain exceptional drink and food quality standards

Deliver excellent customer service

Support daily operations, stock management, and equipment maintenance

Contribute to new drink development and seasonal menu updates

Who We're Looking For

Someone with 2+ years' barista experience and advanced coffee skills - including solid experience with espresso dial-in, milk texturing, and batch brewing.

With strong knowledge of coffee alternatives, matcha, chai, iced teas, and seasonal drinks

An strong communicator and team player with good organisational skills

Someone who is available during weekends as well as through the week
