Barista/Junior Barista - People Person a Must!

We’re looking for a full-time barista to join the team at Carbon Kopi Fulham.

This is an early-career role for someone who loves good coffee and wants to develop in the speciality coffee industry. You’ll need some hands-on coffee experience, confident basic barista skills and, most importantly, a natural way with customers. Carbon Kopi was named among the Top 10 coffee shops in London and Top 40 in the UK by Best Coffee Shops 2026.

The role

You’ll work a minimum of 38 hours per week across four shifts, at £14 per hour. The role includes making coffee, serving customers, helping with food prep, managing stock and keeping the café clean and organised.

What we’re looking for

• Some speciality coffee experience

• Confident espresso preparation and milk texturing

• Basic latte art (a heart is enough at first)

• Happy working across coffee, till, prep, cleaning and stock

• Warm, reliable, fun and team-minded

• Comfortable working at pace while making regulars feel genuinely welcome

Carbon Kopi Fulham is a busy neighbourhood speciality coffee shop with high standards, lovely regulars and a close-knit team. We care about quality, but we’re not stiff about it. Good coffee, proper service, clean systems and a team that looks after one another. Training and support are available, including SCA development for the right person.

Pay and hours

• £14 per hour

• Minimum 38 hours per week guaranteed

• Four shifts per week

Must be available to work on any day of the week (able to start at 7am and finish at 5:30pm) , Must care about what they do and the others they work with.
