Barista

Are you passionate about speciality coffee and creating a great customer experience?

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista to join the team at Hot Numbers. You’ll be part of a busy café environment, serving great coffee, connecting with customers, and helping us maintain the quality and standards we’re known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Make Great Coffee
  Prepare and serve consistently high-quality coffee with care, attention, and pride.

• Deliver Brilliant Customer Service
  Create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer and help make the café somewhere people enjoy returning to.

• Work as Part of the Team
  Support your colleagues during busy services and contribute to a positive, friendly working environment.

• Maintain Quality & Consistency
  Follow recipes, brewing standards, and daily procedures to ensure every drink meets our standards.

• Keep Things Running Smoothly
  Help with cleaning, stocking, equipment care, and the day-to-day running of the café.

• Keep Learning
  Develop your coffee knowledge and skills, learn about the coffees we serve, and continue growing as a barista.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine interest in speciality coffee and coffee culture

• Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred

• Confidence working with espresso machines and coffee equipment

• Friendly, positive, and approachable

• Great communication and teamwork skills

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Someone who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment

• A commitment to great coffee and excellent customer service

The Details

• From 35 hours per week

• Weekend availability required

• Permanent position

• Competitive hourly rate
