Your Role
As a Barista at Sacred Grounds, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional coffee and food experiences within a vibrant, community-focused space. You'll be working with a La Marzocco KB90 and Mahlkönig E80S grinders in a fast-paced environment where efficiency, quality, and communication are essential. Most shifts will be coffee-focused, while some will lean more towards food preparation and service (as cover for the Food + Service Assistant role). All team members are expected to be flexible and contribute to both areas as needed - including general duties like bussing tables, serving on the till, and keeping the space clean and welcoming.

Requirements
Requirements
• Coffee Expertise: You must have previous experience preparing espresso-based drinks in a busy café environment. We're looking for someone with genuine coffee knowledge and skills, not just general hospitality experience.
• Flexibility: Comfortable working in either a coffee or food-prep role
• Pace + Precision: Confident in a fast-paced setting and able to multitask
• Team Player: Friendly, communicative, and supportive of colleagues
• Reliable Commute: You must be able to consistently arrive on time at our Soho location

Position Details
• Typically work 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
• Work shifts of 6-10 hours between 07:30 and 20:00, with occasional later finishes for evening events
• Preferred start date:19th October, though a later start date can be accommodated for the right candidate
